There are a variety of places where you can experience a cooking class
In 2021, our founding team—a mix of technology journalists, smart home installers, IoT developers, and early adopters—found ourselves facing the same frustration repeatedly. Friends and family would ask for smart home advice, and we’d spend hours trying to cut through misinformation to give honest answers.
The smart home information landscape was broken:
The Sponsored Content Problem: Popular tech blogs published “reviews” that were really sponsored articles in disguise. A smart speaker received five stars because the manufacturer paid for promotion, not because it deserved those stars. Readers had no way to know the difference. Trust was an illusion.
Our team recognized homeowners deserved better. They needed:
